Rob Millist Counselling: About

Welcome

Hello, I’m Rob, an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide a warm, supportive space for individuals navigating trauma, LGBTQ+ challenges, neurodivergence, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, seeking clarity, or looking for ways to manage emotional difficulties, I’m here to help you find a path that feels right for you.

I understand that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why I take a person-centred approach, tailoring each session to your unique needs. Using integrative techniques, including advanced CBT, I can support you with emotional regulation, self-acceptance, and personal growth.

I also recognise how life’s challenges extend beyond emotions—career pressures, academic struggles, and self-confidence can all impact well-being. Having supported students at Bournemouth University (2006-2009), and helped individuals navigate career transitions at Heathrow (2017-2020), I bring an understanding of the stresses of work, education, and identity exploration.

I work with young people, students, and adults, including those who are exploring or awaiting a neurodivergent diagnosis. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy is a space for you to be heard, understood, and supported—at your own pace, in a way that works for you.

If you’d like to explore how we can work together, I’d love to hear from you.
